- 9-10 potatoes
- 4 eggs
- salt and pepper
- frying oil
👩🍳 Instructions
Boil the potatoes in their skins. Peel them and grate them using a grater with small holes. Beat the egg whites into a foam and add them over the potatoes. Add the yolks as well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Take spoonfuls of the mixture and fry in hot oil until golden brown. This dish is served for Passover, a traditional Jewish recipe preserved in the community of Sighetu Marmației.
