There is one month left until Romania’s largest environmental volunteering action. Let’s Do It, Romania! invites everyone who wants to contribute to a cleaner future to register for the National Cleanup Day, taking place on September 19, simultaneously in 190 countries.
🌍 Over 22,000 volunteers registered
In Romania, more than 22,000 volunteers from across the country have already registered to take part in the largest nature-cleaning action, now at its 13th edition. Since its launch in 2010, over 2.9 million Romanians have joined cleanup actions with Let’s Do It, Romania!
„We thank the more than 22,000 people who have already registered for the National Cleanup Day. Every volunteer counts, and together we can show that responsibility for the environment is a value that unites communities across the country,” said Agata Bulei, Project Manager at Let’s Do It, Romania!
♻️ This year’s theme: „What do you leave behind?”
The National Cleanup Day was officially recognized by Law 266/2024. This year’s theme, „What do you leave behind?”, encourages reflection and awareness of every gesture in daily life. In 2025, over 270,000 volunteers collected more than 427,000 bags of waste in Bucharest and all 41 counties.

Those wishing to participate can register at app.letsdoitromania.ro. People from Maramureș can form local teams and contribute to a large-scale action to protect the environment.
